ErgonomicWorks provides ergonomic evaluations in Century City, the Westside's corporate and professional-services district, from its Los Angeles headquarters. An ergonomic evaluation is an objective, in-person or virtual assessment of an employee's workstation, measured against ANSI/HFES 100 and Cal/OSHA Title 8 §5110. In-person evaluations are $450, the session runs 45 to 60 minutes, and the written report is delivered in 3 to 5 business days.
• Intake: the employer or employee submits the intake form with workstation photos (native file attachment).
• Live session (45–60 minutes): the consultant observes the employee at their actual workstation, takes objective anthropometric measurements, and adjusts the existing setup during the session — chair, monitor height, surface clearances.
• Written report (3 to 5 business days): measured findings, before-and-after values, and corrective actions the employer can document and defend.
• Follow-up: In-Person Follow-Up evaluations are available at $300 and Virtual Follow-Ups at $150 when a workstation changes or a case needs re-checking.
On-site ergonomic evaluations
Virtual ergonomic evaluations
ErgonomicWorks serves the buyers who carry ergonomic risk:
• HR and EHS leaders in Century City's corporate, legal, financial and entertainment offices and hybrid workplaces
• Public agencies with California compliance obligations
• Workers' Compensation managers and claim adjusters who need objective documentation
• Risk managers preparing for Cal/OSHA §5110 or FEHA interactive-process matters
ErgonomicWorks is headquartered in Los Angeles and serves California employers including the County of Los Angeles, Cal OES, NBCUniversal, and L.A. Care Health Plan. Across public agencies and private corporate enterprises, ErgonomicWorks has conducted thousands of on-site and virtual evaluations over 25+ years.
Every evaluation is measured against the six ANSI/HFES 100 workstation benchmarks — objective values, recorded in the report:
Metric — Benchmark — Objective
Popliteal Clearance — 2 to 3 inches — Relieves pressure on posterior tibial nerve and popliteal fossa
Elbow Flexion — 90° to 105° — Eliminates shoulder elevation and static trapezius load
Radiocarpal Extension — Below 15° — Lowers intracarpal canal hydrostatic pressure
Visual Focal Distance — 20 to 30 inches — Prevents forward head tilt and ciliary muscle fatigue
Ulnar/Radial Deviation — 0° (Neutral) — Prevents tendon shear across the carpal tunnel
Line-of-Sight Declination — 0° to 15° — Aligns cervical spine along the natural gravity vector
The methodology is ANSI/HFES 100, Cal/OSHA Title 8 §5110, and objective anthropometric measurement. Findings are documented as measurable before-and-after values — the same objective record whether the case is routine, contested, or heading to the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board.

ANSI/HFES 100 neutral posture benchmarks.
• Cal/OSHA Title 8 §5110: when repetitive-motion injuries trigger the standard, the employer must run a worksite evaluation by a qualified evaluator. ErgonomicWorks' §5110 evaluations produce the documented, measurement-based record the standard requires.
• FEHA / ADA interactive process: workstation accommodations evaluated and documented as part of the employer's interactive-process obligations, including the duty framed by California Government Code Section 12940(n). Pregnancy ergonomic needs are addressed as part of the evaluation process.
Complex cases & forensic job analyses ($665, inquiry-only) run 60 to 90 minutes and produce litigation-grade documentation for contested claims, subrogation, and expert-witness matters.
ErgonomicWorks sells no furniture, no equipment, and accepts no vendor commissions — 100% vendor-neutral. The evaluation reconfigures what the employee already has first; any purchase recommendation is driven by the measurements, not by a product line. For HR, adjusters, and counsel, that independence is what makes the report defensible: the findings cannot be discounted as a sales document.
