The ErgonomicWorks company serves the California (CA) community in the San Francisco and greater Los Angeles areas. We specialize in ergonomic evaluations for business offices, laboratories, and home office workers. Our expert staff will come to your workplace to assess needs and develop a cost-effective, proactive workplace ergonomics program that will prevent injury, elevate productivity and improve comfort for you and/or your employees.
(We also offer remote ergonomics assessments worldwide for those not in the LA and SF area.)
How our onsite assessments work:
Level One “Mini-Evaluation”
Level One is a concise, effective option when an individualized approach is necessary. In just 20 minutes, modifications are suggested “on the spot” to promote a better fit between a worker and her/his workstation. Designed for the low-risk and symptom-free employee, the Level One approach is a particularly effective way to evaluate individual employees, and is useful when upgrading office equipment, renovating or relocating. A Level One Ergonomic evaluation will qualify as a “good faith effort” under OSHA guidelines.
Level Two “Protective”
Level Two is a comprehensive 55-minute individual workstation evaluation, with a detailed report. Level Two is appropriate for an employee with complaints of work-related pain/discomfort or groups of individuals in ergonomic “red flag” areas (data entry, call centers, materials handling, etc.). “Protective” evaluations are designed to eliminate current complaints and prevent future incidents.
Level Three “Post-Injury”
Level Three is a personalized analysis of the workspace and job tasks performed during or after a medical intervention (work or non-work related injuries). Designed to ease an employee’s return to work and maximize his/her capabilities, Ergonomicworks’ Level Three evaluation (which includes an in-depth report) helps reduce health care costs, eliminate or reduce ergonomic hazards, and protect your organization from future (or continued) claims or lawsuits. Medical providers often prescribe Level 3 as a “Post Injury” ergonomic evaluation.
Level Four “Follow-Up”
This follow-up onsite evaluation is designed to ensure ergonomic workstation recommendations and equipment modifications have been properly implemented. Individuals who received either a mini or formal evaluation in the past will meet with one of ErgonomicWorks’ certified Professional Ergonomists. The visit will last 10-15 minutes. A short questionnaire is administered to indicate if further action is needed; this is attached to the initial evaluation and provided to the employer.
Please provide brief information and a certified Ergonomist will contact you within 48 hours:
